Hood or the Gorge, New Seasons Market offers some great seafood from sustainable suppliers. Obviously this could be a site (or a book) of its own! Stop by and pick up a couple of Growlers (jugs of about a gallon) of your favorite craft beer selections or try one of their unique brews that are only available at the breweries. You’ll see why Portland is Beervana!

Wine
The wines and wine tours of Oregon and Washington have become world famous. We wouldn’t presume to tell you where to try or buy but here are links to two the Columbia River Valley wine region and the Willamette Valley wine region. The Columbia Gorge wine region takes in Hood River Oregon and is about an hour west of PDX international.
The Willamette River Valley starts about 30 miles south of Portland in Newburg and extends south for about 75 miles. Visit the heart of the Oregon wine county and sample Willamette Valley wines by the glass.
